• Upper Thames River Conservation Authority
  Since 1946, the mandate of the Conservation Authorities has been defined in Section 20 of the Provincial Conservation Authorities Act: "to establish and undertake, in the area in which it has jurisdiction, a program designed to further the conservation, restoration, development and management of natural resources other than gas, oil, coal and minerals."

Government of Canada

• Canadian Wildlife Service
  Environment Canada's Canadian Wildlife Service manages wildlife matters that are the responsibility of the federal government.
• Environment Canada
  Environment Canada's mandate is to preserve and enhance the quality of the natural environment; conserve Canada's renewable resources; conserve and protect Canada's water resources; forecast weather and environmental change; enforce rules relating to boundary waters; and coordinate environmental policies and programs for the federal government.
• Norfolk Land Stewardship Council
  The Norfolk Land Stewardship Council is one of 40 community level councils in the southern part of Ontario. These councils operate under the umbrella of Ontario Stewardship, which was developed in response to a shift in the way that governments do business.
• Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources
  The Ministry of Natural Resources manages and protects Ontario's natural resources for wise use across the province.

Long Point

• Long Point Bay Anglers' Association
  The Long Point Bay Anglers’ Association was founded in June 1988 with a mandate to promote and protect the sport fishery of Long Point Bay and to represent the interests of our fellow Long Point Bay anglers. Our membership comes from across southern Ontario and neighbouring American states.

Turtles

• Adopt-a-Pond
  The Adopt-A-Pond Wetland Conservation Programme provides teachers, students and community groups with information resources and educational opportunities to conserve, restore and create wetland habitats.
• Canadian Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Network
  Devoted to conserving Canada's native species of amphibians and reptiles and their ecological and evolutionary functions in perpetuity.
• Kawartha Turtle Trauma Center
  Since June of 2002 the Kawartha Turtle Trauma Centre has been saving injured native turtles and releasing them back into their natural habitat. The Centre is located in Peterborough, Ontario and is a registered Canadian Charity.
• Turtle Haven and Rescue
  Provides rescue and rehab for all species of turtles and tortoises. The Haven is located in Kitchener, Ontario and is working towards the public awareness and education of the crisis in the turtle trade.
• Turtle Homes Canada
  Turtle Homes Canada is a rescue and adoption operation working together with Turtle Homes and other turtle and tortoise organizations worldwide. Turtle Homes Canada helps place animals that cannot be returned to the wild with individuals and institutions willing to provide species-specific care.
• Turtle Shell Tortue
  Established in the fall of 1999 to care for turtles, install highway turtle crossing signs, and provide public education and awareness of the plight of our indigenous turtle populations and habitats.
